LEADERS

Our Core Leaders oversee the overall ministry of Liberty Christian Church.

Richard and Dianne are the senior ministers at Liberty Christian Church in Melbourne, Australia.

Richard oversees Liberty Ministries International. He is also the national chairman of our denomination, Associated Christian Ministries (ACM), and the chairman of Associated Christian Ministers International (ACMI) - a ministry that gathers pastors for fellowship and leadership training in various nations. He also commenced Into Africa Inc with a small group of like-minded people from Liberty Christian Church who believed that as Australians we are greatly blessed and therefore have the capacity and responsibility to help those in our world who are in need.

Dianne oversees the day-to-day operations of Liberty Christian Church and is the founder of “Women Arise!” a ministry to women in Africa. Dianne and Richard have two daughters, Laura and Kathryn, who have a developing ministry in music and worship.

Kerryn is an associate pastor at Liberty Christian Church.

Kerryn oversees the Children’s Church and Performing Arts areas of the church. She also works with Dianne to oversee the day-to-day running of the church and is involved in the pastoral care of our women.

Kerryn and husband Craig have four children, Jonathan, Stephen, Daniel and Kaytlin.

 

 

Phillip Caruana runs his own business and is an elder and director of Liberty Christian Church. He and his wife Barbara are founding members of the church and are significantly involved in many church activities. They hold numbers of meetings in their home and have both been on various overseas mission teams.

Phil especially has a heart to see the supernatural power of God released in the church and out into the world. Phil and Barb have four children, Elisabeth, Steven, Jessica and Paul.

Conrad Chiu and his wife, Theresa, are medical doctors and have been with Liberty Christian Church from its inception. Both have pastors’ hearts and are highly involved in church ministry. They have constantly run meetings in their home.

Conrad is a leader within the Chinese community in the Box-Hill area. He also has a heart for the people of Indonesia and regularly takes trips to minister to leaders and help train medical teams in various areas of that nation.

The Extended Leadership Team

While the above mentioned people are our core leaders they are only part of a much larger team. Some work on staff and others are volunteers, but all are very important and significant.

The truth is that many others in the church are part of this team of people who are on a journey to live life together and carry out the mission of the church. You can meet some of them in the various ministry areas mentioned in this website.
