CULTURE

Within Liberty Christian Church, while there is great room for individuality and difference, there are some things that we would hope are always present because they are part of our DNA.

These include:

A CULTURE OF GRACE that unapologetically emphasises and demonstrates the amazing love and grace of God that brought Jesus to earth to do all that was necessary to liberate us and give us victory over sin, sickness, Satan, religious bondage and legalism – a message and a way of living.

A CULTURE OF FAITH that trusts God and His word above all other opinions and feelings and understands that our lives are built on revelation of God and His word

A SUPERNATURAL CULTURE that is open to, expectant of and involved in ministry where signs, miracles, wonders and gifts of the Holy Spirit are normal. 

A MISSIONS CULTURE that is demonstrated by a clear outward looking mission-mindedness as opposed to an introverted “only our local church” mentality.

A CULTURE OF SERVICE that is demonstrated by a servant-hearted ministry and leadership that seeks to honour God and raise up others to be their best rather than promoting our own individual positions and ministries.

CULTURE OF GIVING that demonstrates and inspires giving as a way of life.

CULTURE OF CREATIVITY that encourages creativity through the use of technology and the arts – that inspires worship of God, expresses our faith and reaches out in a relevant way to those around us. 

A CULTURE OF WORSHIP that creates an environment of worship and promotes a lifestyle with God at its centre and where praise, worship, prayer, evangelism, miracles and ministry are part of everyone’s daily life rather than only for a specific few at a special time of the week .

TEAM CULTURE that speaks of unity and living life together; respecting and appreciating others in the team; helping each other on their life-journey; and considering good attitudes are more important than one’s gifts and abilities.
