We are well and certainly enjoying the hot weather, although it is good to be able to return to an air-conditioned room. It is interesting being in another culture however there are times when there is an overload. This is especially the case when shopping -everywhere we go there are people trying to sell us hotel deals, sunglasses, motor-cycle rides, tours and anything else you can think of.

After such cultural experiences it is wonderful to get back to our little hotel-oasis and dive in to the pool, then relax in the shade and sip on a cool drink.

Today (Monday) is Di’s birthday. It was good fun shopping for some presents. The shopping is pretty good. You can get some quite good things for your money.
